This historic vineyard, planted over a century ago, remains one of the most meaningful pieces of Napa Valley’s winemaking story. In the 1980s, it was saved from being pulled out thanks to two pivotal phone calls; one from Robert Mondavi and one from Joseph Phelps, legendary visionaries who recognized the significance of these vines. Their advocacy preserved a living piece of Napa history, allowing these old vines to continue producing exceptional fruit that forms the backbone of our Estate Zinfandel.

The 2022 vintage reflects the concentration and purity that only dry-farmed, century-old vines can deliver.
